The moment I put down “what I want to do today”, I knew my day was going to be different. And I can confidently say that today was a particularly challenging and fruitful one with me learning new things and accomplishing so many new tasks within really short times I never imagined. I started off by doing some few patches here and there to some of the pages on Cediwise.com, with instructions and guidance from George Appiah, author of georgeappiah.com.
Firstly, I started by creating and adding some links to some of the menus on the cediwise.com site. I added the Life, career, money, entrepreneurship, listibles, forum, toolbox and newsletter links to the their respective menus. Well, as you may well guess, it was kind of hell putting the links up.
The first time George told me I was going to create the links, I asked him: what, me, but you know I have no working knowledge of php, and how on earth do you expect me to do this? But you know what? After I was taken through what I was to do, I bet you it was as if I had been programming in php for centuries. It was relaively cool linking pages in php, although I occasionally run into problems and had to call upon George for help. It was really fun working on Cediwise.com, today and I thought it might be nice having watch some of the screen shots on what I was actually doing.

Oh, I forgot to tell you what this cediwis.com is all about and what I have been doing there. Forgive me. Cediwise.com is a website that is dedicated to helping “smart” and enterprising Ghanaians to create wealth and become financially independent. The site contains tools, resources (cheap and even free) and tips on life, career, entrepreneurship, personal finance and many many more.
As a matter of fact, I am the chief community servant on cediwise.com, contributing my quota on finance particularly what one can do to save a few coins, or put another way, what we can do to avoid over-spending or even wasting money. I will be contributing more articles on various topics soon. So stay tuned in to the site.
You can find out more for yourself. However, if you feel you feel you know something about anything concerning wealth creation, please , don’t hesitate to drop us your views, suggestions and (or) comments.
After I finished with the links, my next task was to create the contact form on the contact page. Well, this one too I thought was going to be hell. But guess what? It was the easiest to do. All I had to do was get to WordPress home page, search for cform (i.e. contact form) plugin, download it, unzip it and upload it into the WordPress plugins folder. This was followed by activating the uploaded plugin at on WordPress plugins’s page. And that was all. So so simple. I never could imagine myself doing these things. Well folks, these were the things I busied myself with today. Below are some of the screen shots of what I did.
